Ronald D. Duckett, Sr., believes that creativity is more than a career; it’s a way to serve. Before he became the Senior Brand Designer for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, Ron’s path was defined early on by a fight for survival as a one-pound premature infant, which taught him the true meaning of resilience.
Today, he channels that strength back into his community. A graduate of the 2023 Neighborhood Leadership Institute 10-month cohort program, Ron stays deeply engaged, whether he’s mentoring kids at the Dayton Recreation Center as a volunteer coach or shaping the next generation of creators at Sinclair College. For Ron, design isn’t just about the visuals and impactful graphics; it’s about proving to others that their dreams are worth fighting for. He remains a tireless advocate for his home because he knows the City of Dayton’s future must always shine brighter than ever before.
